All programs take place at the Prospect Heights Public Library's AB meeting room and on Zoom. Talks start promptly at 7:00. Nature Speaks is free admission but registration is necessary.

Peter will cover the basics of residential solar energy systems as well as the installation process, current state and federal financial incentives, and how to get started. Much financial detail will be offered. Using data from his actual installation, he will show how he retains close to $3000 in annual energy savings compared to the current traditional Comed supply.

Also included is a review of a new program available to residents call Community Solar. This program is available to any rate payer in Illinois. It is simple and easy as it is a subscription program that doesn’t require the purchase or installation of equipment but will save you money and grow Illinois’ renewable energy portfolio. Special programs for low-income households will also be covered.
